As you know there is a terrible under staffing
problem in our country today. Something has to be done now!
We as a society can't take the time to figure out who and how
we are going to fix the crisis nor does it really matter in the
spiritual realm of things. We need to band together and
make "care giving" strong for our Grandpersons, for
ourselves, for our children and for their children.
OUR PROMISE TO CNAs AS MEMBERS
We will provide you with the emotional support
and loving care that all CNAs are entitled to. We will work
with communities, schools and volunteers across the nation to
help eliminate the emotional trauma and depression of everyone
affected by this health care crisis. We also have initiated
a program called AAGCP (Adopt A Grandperson Compassionates Program)
where we will be recruiting volunteers from communities to be
the extended families of your patients. This will bring
companionship to your residents and cheer them up hopefully making
your jobs a little easier.
We will provide an out-pouring of love and support
to all regardless of age, sex, race or state of mind. Love
is blind and therefore does not discriminate. We plan to
bring smiles, companionship, joy, love and emotional comfort while
filling hearts with hope, purpose and the reinforcement that ever
CNA is deserves We would love for you to join us.

regulations, funding, a license, approval, or new policies.

CNA's will be the "angels of this much-needed
change". I need CNAs to advise me on the journey as
the leader of NCNAFS. With everyone's help we can all enjoy
a more loving and compassionate work atmosphere. In the
months to come we will have a monthly newsletter, prizes, awards,
and a National Recognition Program. We hope to soon offer
discounts to CNAs only on various things, we plan on local get-togethers,
national get-togethers with some air-fares paid by NCNAFS.

friendship society that other organizations will aspire to.

Note
I
want to commend Sherry for this great project. It is very
special that she does this. She is a layperson who's father
was in a long-term care center and the care was less than optimal.
Rather than turning her energy towards anger and resentment, she
has chosen to focus it on helping to solve one of the major problems
in LTC. We wish her the very best of luck and hope that
this organization can do much to inspire the most critical player
in the LTC business.
